“Real Housewives of NYC” Star Getting Divorced

Jules Wainstein, one of the stars of the hit reality TV show “Real Housewives of New York City,” is reportedly filing for divorce. The official reason for the divorce was listed as “unresolved issues in the marriage.”

The end of the marriage between Jules Wainstein and her husband, Michael Wainstein, is said to have been precipitated by an extramarital affair between Michael and another woman – at least according to a representative for the reality television star. The rep said that the signs of Michael’s cheating were actually present in certain episodes of the Bravo network TV show, with the infidelity eventually leading to the divorce. For instance, Jules often complained on the show that Michael was always too busy to spend time with his family.

The couple has children, – and eight-year-old son and a five-year-old daughter – which means that the divorce could involve difficult issues of child custody and child support. At this time, there are no indications that this aspect of the divorce will be contentious.

Another major issue in the divorce figures to be division of property and other assets owned by the couple. While Michael reportedly earns a significant income as an investment banker in New York City, Jules has her own company, Modern Alkeme, that manufactures and distributes beauty products.

Jules Wainstein met her husband when she was just 24 years old. Jules is now 35 years of age and has been married to Michael for the past eight years. The marital relationship between Jules and Michael has been a major focus of the current season of Real Housewives of NYC. Now it’s possible that the couple’s divorce could be prominently featured on future episodes.
